Show Cause and Prevention Of Fire The big Palace Theatre was packed, nearly every seat v as taken. The people had gathere 1 tr. see the last showing of a populr: picture, when some one in the audience cried, "Five!" At once the crowd was in a panic each rr.-in was for himself, rushing madly fcrward to gain the entrance. This is the effect Lre has on each ard every one of us. we are helpless in a burning building. Fire gives us no warning, but bursts into mad. raging flames, destroying valuable bui dings beautiful homes and taking the lives of many of our citizens. Every man, women and child should use every precaution rossible to prevent pre-vent the breaking oi fires. Chi'dre:i should be taught the danger of building build-ing all fires and cprrying matches. It is the duty of evrry citize'i in the United States to -c?ep his home and the premir.es in Ihi community in which he lives, clean and free from all trash and rubbish.
