The team from Heber City wen thirteenth place on the judging ot livestock in the United States. They excelled in the judging of swine where they took first place. This organization is growing by leaps and bounds. There were only about one hundred members present at that convention last year while this year there were more than four times as many present. I This convention is not directly con-! con-! nected with the Kansas City show, but j it is held in conecion with it because I it is near the center of the United I States where it will be equally con-I con-I venient for all boys to attend, and there are all the animals needed for the livestock show. This problem is encouraging the boys to become farm managers. Some very good projects were reported there. A few of the boys have whole farms which they entirely manage themselves. them-selves. A prize of one thousand do!- lars is given each year to the star f , -f v, riied States. |
