Show Cold. Headed Off Chlorinated air has been used very successfully as a preventive of colds and lung troubles by the students of the chemistry division of the University Univer-sity of Missouri. A small amount of chlorine is mixed with the air and this is sent into the room through special ventilators. By this means the air la purified as it enters the room, and the use of air outlets makes it possible for the air to be changed as often as It is thought necessary. A decided Improvement Im-provement has been noticed so far as the prevalence of colds Is concerned among the students. |
