Show J MORONI I By Special Correspondence Ernest Anderson and Lenard Anderson An-derson were Salt Lake visitors last we 2k. Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey announce an-nounce the marriage of their son Murray to Miss Elverda Christen-cen Christen-cen of Mount Pleasant. The marriage mar-riage took place January 20th at ManL!. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson made a business trip to Salt Lake City this weeic. The Moroni High School's peppy basket ball team has won every game played thus far. They Won two games this week, one from North Sanpete High- and one from Wasatch Academy. The presentation of Aunt Lucia at the Kc-sy Theatre at Moroni on January 22nd and 23rd came up to all predictions regarding it's ability abil-ity to produce a laugh. Large anc. a ppreciati ve audiences attended both performances. The entire cast went into the play determined, to do their best and it would be inconsistent in-consistent for the writer to pick out any particularly characters. The leading role of Aunt Lucia and Jerry Jer-ry was very ably played by Urwin Morley, Tailtwister in the Moroni Lions club which organization spon wed the show. A large representation from the Fountain Green Lions Club attended attend-ed the show the second night. The Flapper Chorus is probably deserving of more commendation than any other part of the show, because cf the fact that many of these taking part had never appeared appear-ed on the stage before and were required re-quired to dress in female attire and appear alone on the stage in representation rep-resentation of various female characters. char-acters. All of these characters were impersonated by local men. All of those taking part in the show are deserving of the highest praise for their willingness in taking tak-ing part and for their able display of talent. |
