Show Poultry Association Distributes Dividends Cash dividends aggregating $60,-000 $60,-000 are being distributed to 7,500 Utah and southern Idaho members of the Utah Poultry Producers' Cooperative association this week, it is announced by Clyde C. Edmonds, Ed-monds, association general mana- j ger. i The dividends are ordinarily distributed dis-tributed after the first of the year, but the association board of directors direc-tors this year decided to advance the time of payment so that the producers couldi have the money for Christmas. The $60,000 dividend payment this year is 50 per cent larger than the corresponding payment of $40,000 for 1931. The dividends are figured on the basis of eight per cent on the association's outstanding out-standing capital stock, which this year amounts to $750,000. The amount each member is to receive will be eight per cent of the par value of the association stocK held by them on or before December De-cember 20, 1932. Dividend checks have been prepared pre-pared at the association's Salt Lake headquarters and were mailed mail-ed to the producers Thursday. This year's payment brings the total to-tal amount distributed as dividends divi-dends to over $200,000 during the past seven years the system is een used by the association, Mr. Edmonds reports. |
