Show t I ' MORONI By Special Correspondence ' Mrs. Ernest Blackham and Mrs. Lloyd Blackham entertained the Sorosis club at the home of the latter Thursday afternoon. A very good program was given. Those present were the Mesdames Morgan Mor-gan Lamb, Cleon Anderson, Marvin Mar-vin Anderson, Ray Storey, Leo Morley, Ellis Draper, Ray Anderson, Ander-son, John Irons, Blaine Draper and Hannah C. Blackham. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. BiU Jorgensen have returned home after spena-ing spena-ing the summer down in the Southern part of Utah where Mr Jorgensen has been working on the state road. Miss Lapreal Morley has returned return-ed home from Provo to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John I. Morley. The Sunday schools of both wards gave a Christmas program Sunday morning instead of having hav-ing the regular classes. Santa Clause was there with goodies for all the children. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Arnoldson of Preston, Nevada are visiting relatives and friends in Moroni. rrl-. pnn Tt- onil MVc Leander Olsen has been very sick with the flu in the Dice Hospital. He is improving slowly. William Weston of McGill, Nevada Ne-vada is visitttipr relatives here during the holidays. A bundle shower was given in honor of Miss Deluth Peterson at the home of her mother, Mrs. Harry J. Peterson, Thursday night. She received many beautiful beauti-ful and useful gifts. Refreshments were served to sixty guests. Miss Peterson is a bride of next week. The Sons and Daughters organization organ-ization has been responsible for two successful married folks dances. The next one will be held Thursday night, December 29, in the Old Bungalow. They danc? both old and new dances. If you want to have an old fashioned good time, be there! Mrs. Lynn Peterson and Mrs. ' Ed. Christensen are visiting relatives rela-tives in Mt. Pleasant during the holidays. |
