Friday afternoon all the parents were invited to see the art exhibit at tbt Lincon school many beautiful pieces or work were on display that the children had done. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Morley announce the birth of a daughter. ' Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davidson and family of Evanston Wyoming were the guests of Mrs. Marvin Anderson Friday Tuesday May 8th the East Ward Relief Society held a Bazzar at their chapel. Many beautiful and usetul articles were sold Lunches were sold during the noon hours. It was very successful. Tuesday evening in connection w.th first second and fourth grades of tin Lincon school gave an Operetta, "The Pink Parsol" It was very successful and the little tots took their narts well Their costumes were beautiful The following committee was chosen for a May day celebration to be held May 23., Miss Zelma Anderson, chairman chair-man with Mrs. Andy Bradley, Mrs. Ernest Blackham, Mrs. Leander Ols-n, Mrs. Fred Rundquist, Mrs. Reese Bradley Brad-ley and Dolph Taylor as helpers. Friday evening at the home of Miss Winnie Nelson she and Miss Vlold Jensen entertained for Miss Ilene Hanks, Miss Coney Larsen and Miss Ardelle Hogan. The evening was spent playing five hundred, Prizes were won by Mrs. Frank Christensen, Miss Hone Hanks received the consolation prize. Refreshments were served. Marjorie Seely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Seely entertained a number of little friends at a birthday party Monday. She was ten years old on that day. |
