Show Commencement For Wasatch to Begin May 12th The Activities for commencement week at Wasatch Academy win begli with a banquet given by the faculty lor all letter men ol the school, Saturday Sat-urday May 12, at 6 p. m. in the Fir ; Presbyterian church dining hall Rot. N. 11. Smith will act as toastmaster. I Baccalaureate services will be held Sunday at 8 p. m. in the Presbyterian church Rev. Harris PilLsbury of 8Mt Lake will deliver the address to tha graduates. I Graduating exercises for the eighth 'grade will be held Monday at 8 p. m. at the Wasatch gymnasium. The class I will present the proeram under direction direc-tion of Miss Helen K. Peterson, teacher lor the grade. Commercial class graduating exer. cise will be held in the assembly hall, Tin sday at 9 a. m. Rev. N. R. Smith I will deliver the address to the seven Igraduates from the department. The annual F. C. Jensen literay contest will be held in the Presbyterian ; church Tuesday at 8 p. m. $25. Will be I given in prizes for essays orations and j declamations. J; The annual award chapel will be held Wednesday at assembly at 9 a. m Awards earned for all activities of the I year will be given. An exhibit of manual and household arts will be featured from 3 to 5 p. m. Wednesday at Lincoln HaU with tha ' instructors, C. L. Paulson and Miss Sadie I. Raw in charge. I The Alumni banquet is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p. m. at the school dining hall Mrs. N. F. Madsen wul act as toastmistress. J Commencement will be featured b orations by the four honor students of the school. Fred Deschner, Miss Helen Overfclt, Donald Dauwalder, and Miss Melva Stevens, at the gymnasium. Wed nesday at 8 p. m. The Academy la graduating 44 regular students this year, and seven commercial students. |
