Show i MORONI i By Special Correspondence The Sorosis club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes Thursday afternoon. Mrs. N. P. Sorensen and Mrs. Rhodes were hostesses, the occasion bein:j the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Rhodes. Four tables of Rook were played and refreshments were served. The club, presented Mrs. Rhodes with a birthday gift. Those present were Mrs. Lewis Blackham, Mrs. James M. Larsen, Mrs. Lloyd Blackham, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. Marvin Andersoi;, Mrs. Mozart Larsen, Mrs. Elmo Irons, Ir-ons, Mrs. Cleon Anderson, Mrs. Gene Despain, Mrs. John R. Blackham Black-ham and Mrs. Ellis Draper. Special Spec-ial guests were Mrs. Anthony Christensen, Mrs. Ray Ottescn, Mrs. Ernest Monsen, Mrs. Janett Monsen and Mrs. Stanley Carter. Morris Anderson, Eugene Blackham Black-ham and Eugene Louritzen of the Moroni Seminary were home missionaries mis-sionaries in the Chester ward Sacrament Sac-rament meeting Sunday. The Wales choir furnished the program in the East ward sacrament sacra-ment meeting Sunday. Sunday evening the Moroni East ward furnished furn-ished the program in the Wales ward. Mrs, Marvin Anderson entertained entertain-ed twenty-four friends of her little daughter Beth Sunday, the occasion being her seventh birthday anniversary. anni-versary. Refreshments were served. serv-ed. The sixth grade baseball team of the Lincoln school is rejoicing over their success in winning out from the games played with the seventh and eighth grades. They are Earl Bailey, Guy Young, Boyce Larsen, Clifford Wilson, Jay Syme, Harris Anderson, Dean Dyches and Frank Syme. The Bridge club was entertained Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. James Hardy with Miss Eva Barrett and Mrs. Frank Christensen Christen-sen as hostesses. Mrs. Urwrn Morley won high score prize and Miss Vivian Anderson won consolation consola-tion prize. |
