Show Funeral For Mrs. Simpson Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza-betn Eliza-betn Peterson Simpson, wife oi Christian H. Simpson of Spanish Fork were held Friday of last week in the North ward chapel with Bishop Henry P. Olsen in charge. The remains were viewed prior to the services at the chapel. The choir sang, "My Father Knows," "Sister Thou Wert Mild and Lovely," and "Nearer Dear davior, to Thee. Prayers were offered by President Soren M. Nielson and P. A. Peel. The speakers, who paid tributes of honor to her were: William Olson, Ol-son, Bishop Lafayette Frandsen of the Clarion ward, Bishop Swensen of the Spanish Fork Fourth ward, President Henry C. Jacobs and Bishop Olsen. Other musical numbers were: vocal solo, Mrs. 'Thomas W. Jensen; and vocal duet, "There is Hope Beycnd the Veil," by Mr. and Miss Williams of Spanish Fork. The grave was dedicate by Joseph Seely. Many relatives and friends from Spanish Fork, Vernal, Logan, Salt Lake City, and Fairview came here to attend the services. |
