Show i FAIRVIEW I By Special Correspondence The lady teachers of the public and high school faculties were en-tertainieid en-tertainieid Wednesday evening at a kensington by Miss Emmaline Kindred and Miss Helen Van Cott. Games, music and luncheon were enjoyed by ten guests Relif Society ward conferences will be held in Milburn and both Fairview wards in connection with the sacrament meetings on Sunday, April 26th. The program includes: ladies chorus; music, "God of our Fathers;' duet, "The Lord is My Shepherd;" scripture reading; ward president's greeting and report: sustaining of officers by ward secretary; sec-retary; talk by stake officers, "Our Slogan;" and a one act play, "Oui Home," written by Mrs. H. G. Ericksen. An old landmark is passing. The Birch Creek school house has been purchased from the school board Dy Laban Gunderson and is being torn down and hauled to Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, where it will be made into a dwelling house. This building was erected in 1897 for the Pleasant View school and was used until about 1920 when the district wa consoidated. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kelsey announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter Nola to Claylard Nelson of Mt. Pleasant. They were married mar-ried at Manti last week. The young couple will malce their home at Mt. Pleasant. Miss Fern Bushman entertained at a shower In honor of Mrs. Claylard Clay-lard Nelson at the Bushman home Monday evening. Games, music and luncheon was enjoyed by 25 guests. The marriage of Alvin Brady and Miss Lillian Billings of Delta is announced. They were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Turpin Monday evening. Bishop Bish-op Henry W. Jones performed the ceremony. They expect to make their home at Fairview. The president and other officers of the North Sanpete Stake Relief Society visited the regular work meetings at Milburn and both Fairview wards Tuesday. |
