Complete enrollment the first day helps the students choose the classes which are best for them at a time when classes are open to them. I tiave seen students barred from classes which they should have taken, because the class was filled before they registered. Such classes class-es as typwriting, cooking, sewing, shop, etc, can accomodate only a certain number of students. Once 1 -.hese classes are fill d, other stud-nis, stud-nis, no matter how well fitted for the classes, must fin J' different courses. This often results in discouragement dis-couragement and fi'Mng out of school completely. 4. A very small part of the students stud-ents who start late are able to carry their work successfully; while nearly near-ly all who enter early and stay until un-til school is closed complete a full year's .vork. It is the general experience that the student who remains out of school to earn money with which to later attend school lose"; that which i.- far more valuable than the money, the educational attitude, the desire to continue in school.
