Show CIRCUS CARNIVAL IS CDMINGTORIVERSIDE A big home coming event is already being planned at Riverside f ir tho return of the boys of Battery D.. The local Lions Club has appoints. 1 committees to make all preparations fir the annual Jubilee which is ex-expened ex-expened to be given each year when the Battry returns from camp. The committees are as follows: General Committee Joseph L. Lund, Henry Terry, George Squire, and Erneit Brunger. I onsessions Committee Joseph Matson, Ernest Brunger, Hurry Ericksen and Mr Brough. Pro-rani Committee Dr. P. L. Holnian, Fre 1 Rasmussen and J. W. Locke. This year the Jubilee will be given on Friday, August 19. it will be a Circus Carnival beginning at noon :.nd lasting the remaining part of the cicy and evening. Thi merchants have already declared a half holiday fir the event. The band will be there with music in the air. Some of the feat. ires to amuse the children will include a Scenic Railway. A tea garden will be arranged ar-ranged for the older people. A free dance will be given for tho i hildren in the afternoon. Prizes will be offered for various things, one of them being given to the person coming the longest distance dis-tance lo attend the Circus, Carnival another will be given to the lady who can drive an automobile , tho straightest. Many other prices are in store. A big dance will be given in the evening. The whole county is Invited to attend. |
