Golderf-rod Golderf-rod and sunflowers were effectively used in the decorating scheme. Three tables of bridge were played play-ed with the 'prize for hijh score a-.wairded a-.wairded .to Mrs. S. S. Atkin and the consolation prize to Miss Ida Loveli. The guest prize was awarded to Mrs. ,E. W. Wall. Tea was served at the (onclu3ion of the bridge party. Mrs. Charls Swenson was hotess at a beautifiul appointed dinner for twenty quests last evening in horor of her f if tie-tin birthday anniversary. There were present Mrs. Mary Bond, 'Mrs. Ellen Wilson, Miss Aftou Wilson, Wil-son, Mirs Frank Pritshett of Richfield, Rich-field, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wright, Mrs. Sena Jensen, Earl Jensen, Mir. and Mrs. William Miliar, Mr. and Mrs. Auer Chiristensen, Mr. and Mrs. David Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Joseph Jensen, and Cris Urothersen. Fiftyfour ' honor 2(uiests, all past seventy years of age, were present at the party given in the North ward chape'l Tuesday afternoon by the relief re-lief socitles of both wards and the Daughters of the Pioneers. The oldest in the gathering were John! Knudsen, aged 9C years, and Mrs. I Mary Wilcox, aged 94, both hale and hearty and enjoying th0 party to the' utmost. Following a program and luncheon the honor guests enjoyed an automobile tour to surrounding! towns. Soon be warm enough for the women to take off their heavy rouge.1 |
