Show CIIIEIITAI Commencement week at Wasatch Academy bean Thursday evening with a music recital presented in the First Presbyterian Church by . the advanced pupils of .Miss Alma McNeil Mc-Neil and Miiis Charlotte Kern. Saturday evening at 6:30 the annual an-nual athletic banquet will be given in the academy dining hall by the faculty. The Baccalaureate servicles will be held at eight o'clock Sunday evening eve-ning in the First Presbyterian cbwch Rev. Harris G. Spillsbury of Salt Lake, professor, of Bible at West- , minster College, and acting pastor of the 'Third Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake, will deliver the sermon to the graduates. Commercial class graduation ex-ercises ex-ercises will be held at' nine o'clock Monday morning in the Assembly hall. Eighth grade graduation exercises Willi be held at eight o'clock Monday evenirfj in the gymnasium. Twenty three students have completed the eighth grade under Miss Helen K Petersen. Tuesday evening at eight o'clock the annual F. C. Jensen literary contest con-test will be held in the assembly hall. Twenty five dollars will be awarded in prizes to the winners in essay, oration and declamation The honor awards will be made in assembly hall at 9:30 Wednesday morning, and Wednesday afternoon between the hours of two and five the domestic and manual arts exhibits ex-hibits will be held in Lincoln Hall under the direction of Miss Sadie I Raw and C. L. Paulson. At 7:30 Wednesday evening the commencement program will be presented pre-sented in the gymnasium. Orations will be delivered by the honor students, stu-dents, Eric Clitheroe, Mass Helen Kemseff, Miss Lucile Ballard and Miss Florence Phillips. Thirty-three students will be awarded diplomas. The alumni banquet, beginning at 9:30 Wednesday evening in the Acrd emy dining hall will be the conclud. ing event, of commencement week. |
