Show WILD GAME SEASON. lu Utah tlie open .season for sage hens, blue grouse, ruffed grouse, prnire chicken, mid mourning doves, will bo from , September 1st to 10th. both dates inclusive, in all counties of the State except Uinta County Coun-ty and the following game preserves: pre-serves: lleaston State (lame Preserve, Cache State (lame Preserve, Dixie State Game Preserve, Pish Lake State Game Preserve, Mount Ogdeu Game Sanctuary, Strawberry Valley State Game Preserve, Big Cottonwood Game Preserve, Pre-serve, Parowan State Game Preserve, Wasatch State Game Preserve, and Ml. Timpanogas State Game Preserve. Xot more than eight birds may be killed and held in os-i session during any one day, and not more than twelve birds may be legally killed during the season. , In view ot the tact that a ; considerable number of llun-j garian Partridges and pheas ants have been liberated throughout various parts of the State, the fish and game de partment requests the cooperation coopera-tion of the sportsmen in the pro tection of these birds. There is no danger of mistaking the identity of these birds if the proper amount of caution is used, as they do not range with the native game birds and their markings and habits are so different as to make them easily easi-ly distinguishable. No other game birds, except the five varieties first above mentioned, may be legally taken tak-en during this open season. |
