Boy Hear Funeral Planned Madisonville, Ky. Roscoe Quails, 9, lying helpless in his bed, unable to move, heard his parents give him up for dead and plan the funeral arrangements. ar-rangements. Now he is recovering after hours of thought of being buried bur-ied alive. Roscoe fell while skating skat-ing on a pond on his father's farm. Paralysis set in and the physicians found the youth had suffered concussion concus-sion of the brain. He lost his speech, and was kept alive several days by liquid food. This failed to bring improvement im-provement and the boy apparently died shortly after the doctors left. Parents and relatives then planned the funeral. Roscoe says he heard it all.
