Show GREAT UASTV FIELD DAY IS WELL ATTENDED The "field days that were held at the Great Basin Experiment Station in Ephraim Canyon August 14 and 1 ' were attended by college, extension, exten-sion, and forest workers as well as l;"esroek men from the entire State of Utah. Sanpete Crrinty was well represented with more than fifty people from various parts of the county. In all there were approximately approx-imately 150 people in attendance. The party left Ephraim at noon on Friday niakirt?; several stops in rout to the Station inspecting experimental ex-perimental areas. After a splendid supper cafteria style some horseshoe pitching, jumping, and CJher contests con-tests were enjoyed, after which a campfire meeting was held, many topics were discussed the major one o: which was handled by Director William Peterson of the Utah Ag- ricultural College. i The following morning the ex-; ,'periment areas under way were vis-i'ed. vis-i'ed. Stops were made on the road from 'the station to the top of the Mountain at Alpine. Among the points' considered were the follow- !"" First.
