Show JOHN CUNQERSnN OBSERVES IIS 50TH. BiRTHDAUHUBSDAY Mr and Mrs. John Gundersen were hosts at an elaborate dinner party Siven last evening in the high school i.ymnaaium in honor of Mr. Gund-ersen's Gund-ersen's fiftieth birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. More than two hundred ,guests were seated at the three long tables which were bright with a profussion of late summer flowers. State senator W. D. Candland was toast master and responses to toasts were made by Mr. Gunderson, Douglas Gundersen, C. W. Sorensen, President Presi-dent S. M. Neilsen, and James Hal-vorsen Hal-vorsen of Brigham City. The guests were welcomed by Douglas Gundersen and an enjoyable program pro-gram of musical numbers was presented pre-sented by the Squire orchestra. Mrs. H. C. Jacobs, Miss Christie Clark, Reed Clark, W. H. Terry, Louis A. Petersen, Earnest Staker, and George Squire. - Nephi Gundersen of Price on behalf be-half of Mr. Gundersen's brothers presented him with a gold watch and chain and a handsome leather ocker and a leather traveling bag ,was presented to Mr. Gunersen by his many friends. Following dinner the guests were entertained at a picture show at the Peerless Theatre and a dance in the Armory Hall. |
