Show RAIL PRESIDENTS REMOVED. McAdoo Will Name Federal Directors ; for Every Railroad. Washington. Every railroad president presi-dent in tile United States was relieved from active duty as executive manager of his road on May 20 by Director Oen-eral Oen-eral McAdoo, who will appoint a federal fed-eral director for each road, responsible only to the railroad administration. In many cases the president of the road may be named federal director. As another step in the reorganization of ruilroad management, the director general ordered the creation of two new operating districts the Allegheny region consisting of the principal trunk lines east of Pit ishuiy, excluding the New York Central, managed by C. II. Mnrkliain, now regional director for the south, and Pocahontas districts, consisting of the east and west trunk lilies terminating at Hampton Ponds. To safeguard the interests of stockholders stock-holders and maintain the individuality of each railroad, federal directors, whenever possible, will be appointed from among the operating officers of the property, the director general announced. an-nounced.
