Show AN ORDINANCE ! An Ordinance amending section 452 of the Revised Ordinances of Mount Pleasant, relating to dogs. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNT PLEASANT, us follows: Section 1. That section 452 of the Revised Ordinances of Mount Pleasant, Pleas-ant, Utah, passed by the City Council Coun-cil on the 28th, day of December, 1911, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows; Section 4 52. DOGS TO BE REGISTERED, REG-ISTERED, ANNUAL LICENSE. PENALTY. It shall be unlawful for any person to own or keep a dog .within the limits of this city without first obtaining a license therefor , from the City Recorder, and paying 'to the City Recorder for the benefit of the city, an annual license fee of three dollars for every male dog, and four dollars for every female dog. The Recorder shall register the licensee's li-censee's name and description of the dog, and give to the licensee a cer-, cer-, tificate of registry. Any person violating vi-olating this section shall be guilty of ia misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars, dol-lars, or by imprisonment not exceeding exceed-ing three months, or by both. Section 2. This ordinance shall itaka effect and be in force on and after af-ter the 8th day of March, 1918. Passed by the City Council on the 2nd day Of March, 1918. j W. D.
