Show MORONI Pa il Prandsen, Frank Jensen and Roscoe Morley returned home Mar. 12, after being honorably discharged from the U. S. army. v They volunteered for service and left home, March 19 1918. They first went to Camp Logan Colorado and from there to Boston, Mass., where they stayed until the latter part of July when they sailed for France. They were members of the 71st Coast Artillery. Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong of Salt Lake are visiting their friends and relatives here. Mrs. Olive Draper spent the latter part of the week at Salt Lake, visiting visit-ing her sister Mrs., Mary Armstrong. Mrs. Sophia Smith of Taylorville. is visiting here this week, the guest of her daughter Mrs. Charles Jackson. Jack-son. Mrs. J. L. Jolley visited at Manti last week, the guest of her daughter Mrs. Burton Tuttle. Ephraim Nelson visited at Manti last week on account of the illness of his father J. C. Nelson. Ray Nelson came home from Salt Lake Monday. Oscar Lindorth of Dandville. 111. spent last week with his mother Mrs. James Olsen, who is recovering from a severe illness. Leland Hardy son of Aaron Hardy has recently been honorably discharged dis-charged from the army and with his-wife his-wife came to this city last Monday. The young couple will make their home here. The Juniors of the Moroni High School entertained the faculty an 1 their class members at an elaborate chicken supper Saturday evening at the High School reception room. Progressive Rook was the chief feature fea-ture of entertainment. The members of the Soroses club tendered their resigning president. Mrs. Randall Chistensen a vary pleasant surprise Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Sewing followed by a unique luncheon was enjoyed by: Mrs. B. C. Linebaugh. Mrs. Elmo Irons. Mrs. B. E. Jamison. Mrs. E. D. Anderson, Mrs. Blain Draper, Mrs. Ray Anderson, And-erson, Mrs. A. F. Anderson, Mrs. Fred Anderson. Mrs. Xelila Lay ton and the guest of honor.
