Show Tiie Home Culture club entertained entertain-ed Wednesday atternoon at the lieau-niann lieau-niann home witli Mrs. II. C. Tleau-niann Tleau-niann and Mrs. .1. W. McUann as hostesses. "The Woman Power of the World" by Mrs. John Carter and Chapter IV of "Our National Government" Govern-ment" by Mrs. II. F. Wall. Several iioa u i i fn I piano solos w ere contributed contribut-ed by Miss Grace Sample. Mrs. J. Mill on Burns was elected a member of tho club. Luncheon followed the completion of the programme. Club will meet next Wednesday afternoon witli Mrs. A. Crane and Mrs. E. W. Wall at the home of the later. Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Jensen and family, who left Monday afternoon for their new home in Axtell, were guests of honor at several dinners just prior to their departure. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Johansen entertaine'd in their honor Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Orange Aldrich were hosts' at dinner for them Sunday evening and Mrs. C. W. Soreusen entertained for them Monday afternoon. The Woman's Missionary Society held their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. E. W. Wall. Two chapters from tne societies so-cieties study book were read, "The Pay Envelope" by Mrs. O. J. Harney, and "War or Peace" by Mrs. Mack- inder. Devotionals were conducted by Mrs. H. F. Wall. Mrs. Wall was assisted in serving luncheon by her mother, Mrs. A. Crane. The next meeting will be Monday afternoon, March 3rd. at the Teacrehs' cottage, and hereafter the society will meet regularly each Monday afternoon. iniii'fPiwBia |
