Show GUI ILL ENTERTAIN SOLK FRIDAY, Owing to some misunderstanding the City Council has decided to give their banquet for the returned soldiers sol-diers next Friday, March 7th. instead of this Friday evening, a they had previously announced last Thursday night. The local Odd Fellows had plans all arranged before they made it known to the public. The same program as was announced an-nounced in last week's issue of the Pyramid will he carried out. ' In response to the call made by the local- Red Cross, a committee met with members of the City Council Coun-cil at the Library Thursday evening to discuss plan's for the "Welcome Home" entertainment to be given the returned soldiers next Friday, March 7th. The Arrangement Committee was appointed as follows: Miss Selma Jensen, Mrs. A. C. Madsen, Mrs. A. Aldrich, Miss Hilda Madsen, Mrs. A. Crane, Mrs. George Clemensen and Mrs. R. L. Madsen. It is requested by the above named 'Committee that the following women meet at the City Hall Monday evening even-ing at 7:30 o'clock: Mrs. Hyrum Madsen, Mrs. Charles Christensen, Mrs. Andrew Jensen, Mrs. Hyrum Christensen, Mrs. Andrew Knudsen, Mrs. R. Whittaker, Mrs. E. C. Johnson, John-son, Mrs. C. T. Drage, Mrs. O. F. Wall, Mrs. O. N. Clemensen, Mrs. Peter Madsen, Mrs. Augusta Petersen, Peter-sen, Mrs. Erick Ericksen, Mrs. Amasa Ericksen, Mrs. Will Anderson, Ander-son, Mrs. Arthur Jensen, and Mrs. J. D. Meyrick. |
