Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. i(i The Twentieth Century club members mem-bers met for their regular weekly meeting Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. W. D. Candland. A lecture' on health and school was given by Mrs. S. D. Longsdorf and .Mrs. U: L. Madsen gave an interest-in? interest-in? sketch of the life of William M. Thackeray. Luncheon was served to eighteen guests. Club will meet again next Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Obed A. Nelson. O. Joy Harney of the J. C. Penney Co. lectured Wednesday morning to the Academy Department of Salesmanship Sales-manship and Business Efficiency. Mr. Gardemann states that this is a new course, and everything is being done to make it worthy of consider- ation. The O. S. A. Club will meet next Friday with Mrs. Nils Larsen: All members of the club are invited to be present. ' Robert E. Hill of Idaho Falls is the guest of Miss Fanny Monsen. |
