Show FAIRVIEW. Dr. and' Mrs. S. B. Rigby are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a fine baby hoy at their home November 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sundwall are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl at their home October 30. A baby girl was welcomed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Terry on October 28th. Kenneth Tucher of Soda Springs, Idaho is visiting relatives In Fair-view. Fair-view. Mrs. Fred Rigby came from Clear .-. Creek and visited relatives here the past week. Mrs. John Melgaard of Schofield was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Melgaard the past week. 'Mrs. May Bill went to Wyoming Thursday having been called there . by the serious illness of her eighteen year old boy who has had typhoid fever for three weeks. v Elmer Briggs had his arm badly . broken this week by falling from a horse. Herbert Bills was taken to Salt Lake City again this week to receive treatment at the hostipal. The City election at Fairview went off very quietly, H. M. Rasmussen was elected mayor by a handsome, .....i.jrity. Lawrence Allred (Democrat) (Demo-crat) was elected for four years co-upcilman, S. S. Sanderson (Republican) (Re-publican) Chauncy "Howell and Mer-in Mer-in Madsen (Democrats) were elected coiincilnien. Peter Sundwall (De-ra'acract (De-ra'acract was elected Treasure, and Henry Terry (Democrat) elected Recorder. Re-corder. The ladies literary club met at the home of Miss Fern Christensen Nov. 5th'. A musical' program was given. Mrs. Ellis Coombs, Mrs. Neola Olsen, and Miss Ruby Graham each gave vocal solos, Miss Selma. Christensen ,gave a piano solos. Fourteen ladles enjoyed the social hour and dainty refreshments served. Mrs. Sarah E. Fowels went to Salt Lake City Monday. She will spend the winter there doing Temple Tem-ple work. Mrs. Caroline Miner went to Arizona Ari-zona this" week where she will visit with her sister, Mrs. Hyrum De-Fries. De-Fries. Mrs Douglas Sanderson is visiting at "the home of S..S. Sanderson this week. Mr and Mrs. Hans Madsen of Iowa are visiting at the home of Mr. Mad-Ben's Mad-Ben's sister. Mrs. Mary C. Tucker. The Chautauqua held at Fairview last week was well attended and well liked bv those who attended. Dr. W. E. Adams of Seattle, Wash. . ,, j hr. lectures here this Week that were very much enjoved bv those who attended. His nub-jects nub-jects were, "The eyes of the Soul. One hundred percent Americanism. The social event of the week was a banquet given by the Commercial Club in honor of Dr. Adams. The tables were artistically .decora d with hallowe'en decorations. Punp-kin Punp-kin baskets held beautiful Autumn fruits. More than fifty perse . attended at-tended the banquet. John K. Gra ham was toastmaster. Speeches were made by C. P. Olsen, Swen O. N.elson, H. M. Rasmussen, H. S. Olsen. A. U. Miner, Bishop Hansen, LeRoy 5 and Dr. Adams. Mrs. H. M. B- mussen. Mrs. S. P.
