Show MORONI. ' The M. H. Ladies Club met Thurs-! day afternoon at tho home of Mrs. Orson Draper. A lecture was given on "Health and the School by Mrs. Josiah Blackham. Instrumental music was furnished by Miss Cecil Draper. Eighteen members were present and luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Larson entertained en-tertained Thursday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bruno who have gone to Eureka to reside. Music, games and luncheon were the main features of the evening. Those present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Amos Bradley, Mr and Mrs. P. C. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno, Mrs. Eliza Bradley, Mrs. Myra Olson, Mrs. Bert Bradley 'and Mr. and ' Mrs Isaac Bruno. Mrs. Lee Flaherty of Ogden is here visiting her mother, Mrs. A. F. Simpson. Mr. and Mrs.'G. E. Kirkham are visiting in Salt Lake and Lehi. Miss Rachel Anderson of Lehi is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Frank Yearance. Chris Jensen and daughters, Blanche and Kesten of Manassa, Colorado are here visiting friends and relatives. Mrs. Hattie Ames has gone to Nephi to spend a week with her sister. Tweney-four guests were present at a Hig-flve party given Saturday night by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ander son. Music and luncheon were part of the features. Prizes were taken by Mrs. Leonard Tidwell, Orley Anderson And-erson and Louis Blackham. Another interesting affair of the week was a dinner party given Wednesday Wed-nesday night by Mr. and Mrs. Orley Anderson. High-five was the game. Prizes were won by Mrs. Ernest Anderson, And-erson, Mrs. Eph. Anderson and J. A. Christensen. Those present were ,Mr .and Mrs. J. A. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Bent Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Eph. nderson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lit- ,Ie and Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy. Horace Draper is home from Kenils. worth where he has spent the winter. Covers were laid for ten at a dinner din-ner party given Sunday night by Mr. and Mrs. Urvin Gee. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Eph. Nelson, Nel-son, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roundqoiist, hris Jensen, Miss Florence Jensen, Mrs. Lena Christensen, Miss Artona Christensen and Mrs. A. Christensen. Bill Jensen and family left last week for Salt Lake where they expect to reside. Clarence Brown of the High School faculty returned Monday from Ogden Og-den where he has spent several days with friends. |
