Show JULY 4TH, A PTE DAY, kUM CITY (' July 4th., the great day of our country, was a quiet day at Mount Pleasant this year. There was very-little very-little doing. Only a program a; the meeting house in the morning. General McAlexander. the Rock oi'J the Marne, was here to speak to the1 people, but there was no demonstration demonstra-tion given in his honor. No parade, or anything of the kind. Following the program, however, there were games for t'he young people peo-ple and they enjoyed themselves in the amusements. There was a rodeo meet in the j afternoon at the R. Anderson farm 'which attracted a crowd of people, j In the evening a dance was given at the Armory Hall and a splendid picture show at the Kinema. The "Six Knights 'O Melody" of Salt Lake City were here and gave a concert which was well attended in the evening.. They gave a real treat to the music lovers.
