Show j Mrs. Caroline Ostenson aged Sb died at the home, of her daughter Mrs. Lee Kelsey July 2. Funeral services were held in the North Ward . chapel Jiuly 5 and were well attendee by friends and relatives. Bishop J. R. Graham presided, Fred Danielson Sidney Sanderson, Henry Jones were speakers who spoke well of her lifge. Bishop Graham gave closing renrarko J. P. Jordan gave the opening -prayer and David Oariston the benedictioi. The choir furnished appropriate : music and Mrs. Kimball Mower gave a special solo, many flowers were given. Philip Brady, Alvin Brady j Clarence and Lester Turpin, FrahK (White and Loreny Kelsey acted as pall bearers. Interment was in the Fairview- cemetary where Frank White dedicated the grave. Mrs. Osenson is a native of Norway but came with her husband Peter Osten-sen Osten-sen to Utah for the gospel sake. She was the mother of thirteen children child-ren the oldest was born while they were crossing the plains. She had been a widow for more -than ten years. Her living -children are Mrs. Maria Star of Salt Lake, Mrs. Clara jfBigelow, f Wallsberg, Mrs. Levee :'Cox of Jerome, Idaho, Miss Caroline J'Ostensen, Mrs. Annie Brady, Mrs. i Vina Kelsey of Fairview. Philip .Ostenson of St. George. She also leaves forty grand children and a large number f great grand children. Miss Laurel Miner spent the past week visiting at Provo and Morgan. Mrs. Hans Madsen who spent the past month in Salt Lake with her daughter, has returned home. |
