Show MORONI. The Sorosis Club met Thursday afernoon at the home of Mrs. Sadie Christensen. A lecture was given by Mrs. Blane Draper entitled "The Obsttinate Child." Mrs. B. E. Garret Gar-ret gave a vocal solo. Seventeen members wjere present;. Mrs. Dr. Dice was a special guests. M. H. Ladies met at a kensington Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Amy Hardy. A dainty luncheon was served to ten. Miss Inez Dorius and Miss Arvilla Anderson of Ephraim were Moroni visitors last week. The members of the University extention course gave an ideal dancing danc-ing party in the Auditorium of the high school Thursday evening. Twenty two couples were present. The dance was conducted by Prof. Arthur Powell. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Garret enter, tained Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yearance and Mrs. Rachel Anderson at dinner din-ner party on Sunday of last week. Mrs. Irvin Gee entertained at a Kensington Friday afternoon of last week, M'usic and luncheon were the features. Those present were Mrs. Josiah Blackham, Jr. Mrs. Josiah Blackham Sr. Mrs. C. Tidwell, Mrs. I. M. Draper, Sorn Neilson, Mrs. Aaron Gee, Mrs. B. E. Garret, Mrs. Rodney Anderson and Mrs. Fred Roundquist. Moroni Faux of Salt Lake City has been the guest of his mother, Mrs. Dorthy Faux. Frank Little has returned to Xevada after spending a few weeks here with his family. Miss Winnie Nilson entertained Friday evenimg in honor of Miss Jewel Linebaugh who has gone to Pleasant Grove to reside. Those present were Marjorie Gee, Erma Nelson. Grace Sorensen, LaRu Olson, Viola Nielson, Ivy Christensen Vonda Sorensen Davida Hardy, Jewel Linebaugh, Line-baugh, Anna Prestwich, and the hostess. |
