Grif fiths, a baby girl Jan. 19th. Mr. and Mrs. E. Wilkinson of Ed monton, Alberta, Canada, are here visiting with Mrs. Wilkinson's mother, Mrs. Jos. Wright. The Old Folks of Spring City were entertained at the Opera House, Jan. 22nd in manner never before ( attempted. The committee is to be j f commended for the entire program ' I which was carried out. At 12 o'clock . I 100 people were seated at dinner and 4 a second table accomodated 60 mpre of, the honored guests besides the various committees. During the program all sang "Come, Come Ye Saints" a reading was given by Mary E. Acord, Duet by Mr. and Mrs. C. Thompson, Jr., A spirited talk was given, a song John Blain and Mrs. Rose Olsen, Reading Mrs, Maud B. Acord. After the fro ' gram the Old Folks were entertain ed at a moving piccu show. Ice Cream and cake vsrn to all th quests after the show. Tae day's ijo ertainment ended with a dance le-Lhe le-Lhe evening. W- |
