The Misses Alice and Johanna Madsen Mad-sen of Schofield, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Madsen, are guests of Miss Louise Madsen at the A. C. Madsen home. j Mrs. J. P. Gibson of West Weber is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Scovil. Mrs. D. L. Argyle of Salina is a guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Staker. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Wall and Mrs. R. A. Rittrch motored to Salt Lake City last Wednesday. Capt. Thomas Braby has received instruction from Adj. Gen. E. i. Wedgewood to report at Fort Douglas Doug-las Sunday morning and begin training train-ing recruits for another squadron of cavalry. Capt. Braby says that Utah needs 300 more men for cavalry an 1 'artillery in the National Guard of Utah. Ruth and Vernon Becker of Manti are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jensen. The W. C. T. U. met at the home of Mrs. F. C. Jensen today and enjoyed a very interesting meeting. The Misses Ruth Becker, Frances and Winifred Jensen rendered several beautiful musical selections on piano and harp. They also gave a number of vocal solos. Miss Lillian Nelson, milliner for Mrs. B. L. Ericksen in this city, went to Salt Lake City Wednesday afternoon after-noon and will spend the summer : there in one of the big stores studying study-ing new designs for fall and winter, i Miss Nelson expects to return in the fall.
