Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR AARON G. OMAN Many friends and relatives attended attend-ed the funeral services held Monday afternoon at the North Ward chapel for Aaron G. Oman, a pioneer and resident of Mount Pleasant since 1S61, who died Friday night at his home in this city. The obsequies were conducted by Bishop H. C. Jacobs. The ward choir sang a number of appropriate selections ami Miss Elida Staker sang a solo "Face to Face." The speakers were President Pres-ident C. N. Lund. Bishop James Larsen Lar-sen and Bishop H. C. Jacobs. The pallbearers weie wiuan o , ov.. Aaron, Andrew, John W., Daniel and James L. Oman and his brother Alfred Al-fred Oman. Interment was in the city cemeterv, where the grave was dedicated by Elder O. F. Peel. The floral tributes were exceptionally large and beautiful. Mr. Oman was born July 1, 1839 at Olaiui, Sweden. In 1S4S he moved to Denmark and was educated in the schools of the country. Later he filled a seven year mission vi;n Patriarch Pa-triarch Mads Anderson in Denmark. In the year 1S60 he came to Utah and made his. home at Mount Pleasant. He was niarried to Elizubeth Madsen that same fall. Eight children were born to them. Aarop. Andrew. Elizabeth, Eliza-beth, Mina (Mrs. Harvie TidwelF, Daniel. Cyrus and James. His wife died and later he was married to Mrs. Marianda Seely Peel whi'th was about 19 years ago. Those who came here to attend the funeral from other places were Alfred Al-fred Oman of Chester, Idaho, Dan'el Oman of Warm Rivers. Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Howard of Warm Rivers. Idaho.
