Show BELGIAN RELIEF COMMITTEE DOES EFFCTIYE WORK POOR PEOPLE Ol- MOUNT FLEAS-ANT FLEAS-ANT WILL BE REMEMBERED WITH A (ill 'T. Success has crowned the efforts of the local Belgian Relief Committee. Mt. Pleasant people have very 'iber-ally 'iber-ally subscribed nearly ten to 'S of Hour which is to be shipped te Europe Eur-ope for the suffering Belgians. Great praise is due the collecting committee commit-tee consisting of A. C. Wall, John Gunderson, Ch'as. Oldham and L. P. Nelson for their most efficient work. U is no pleasant task to solicit subscriptions, sub-scriptions, but these men realizing the importance of the cause they represented, have most willingly spent more than a week of their time in canvassing the town. The people have been so generous in their contributions that the general gen-eral committee plans to remember our own poor people with substantial gil'ls. It is surely gratifying to know that, the spirit of Charity prevails pre-vails so generously among our citizens. citi-zens. "It is more blessed to give than lo receive" a saying which is well grounded in our community. The other towns report satisfactory satisfac-tory progress, Chester being the Orst one to report that her allotment had been subscribed. Definite reports from the other (owns are expected in the very near future. The committee expects to ship the Hour within the next couple of weeks.
