Hanson and Clarence Oldrojd have returned from Frovo where they were taking the mid winter course at theB. Y. U. Born, to Mrs. Francisco Hanson, a son, March 16th. Ella Hanson, 15-years of age, died very suddenly and unexpectedly of heart failure. She is the onlv daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Niels C. Hanson. The youngest child of J. D. Coombs had the misfortune of breaking his arm. Hyrum Yorgason came home from the sheep camp very sick. He has a slight attack of pleurisy. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coo mis, Feb. 28, a daughter. Wm. Cook, who has been sick for some time is slowly improving. Ed Draper's bid for water master was accepted. Louis Thompson went to Idaho this week to look at the country. Anthony Chipman of Moroni was in town this week in the interest of buying a home. Some time ago Harriet Collard an elderly lady, fell out of bed and broke her arm. She is improving as well as could be expected considering consider-ing her age. John Aa ard and family are back from Provo, w.here he was taking a missionary course at theB. Y. U. He was called home to attend the fun eral of his sister, Mrs. Jas. S. Yorg-ason's Yorg-ason's baby. The 8-months old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Jamej S. Yorgason, died March 7th, of bronchial pneumonia. Funeral services were not held until Tuesday the 12th, as Mr. Yorgason was in Burlington, Wyo., at the time of the death. Mrs. Yorgason has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Aagard since October. Wyo., is their home. Born, March 2th, to Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum N, Hansen, a boy. The Relief Society held their annual ann-ual meeting at 1 o'clock March 17th, in the meeting house. The following follow-ing Friday they will give a program in the Relief Society Hall afttr which refreshments will be served. At night they will give a Leap year ball to all over sixteen years of age.- The New Central Telephone office is nearly completed. It is located on Main street south of the old office. The Misses Mary, Lottie and Marie Jensen will tend the exchange. J. M. Jensen, for many years a well known and respected resident of this place, passed away March 15. He had been ailing nearly all winter. Funeral services were held Sunday at the meeting house. Speakers were A.M. Barentson, Jas. Jacobson, J.J. Anderson, J. L. Neilsen and Bp. C. J. Christiansen. A 'large turn out ivf.s present. He leaves the following follow-ing children to mourn his loss. N. M. Jensen, Mrs. H. C. Hanson Bogh, Mrs. Eskil Anderson, Mrs. Frank Huggins, Mrs. C. S. Augason, Mrs. L A. Jas. Aagard, Mrs. Joseph Anderson, Ander-son, and Mrs. Willard Oldroyd, also several grand children. |
