Show ANNOUNCEMENT. Patrons of The Pyramid are hereby notified that I have sold the plant, business and good will of the Pyramid Publishing-, Company, of Mount Pleasant, to Burke McArthur. The transfer of the property has been made and the new proprietor, who is sole owner of the institution, has already assumed charge. For the extremely liberal patronage and loyal support given me by the people of North Sanpete during the many years I have conducted con-ducted the business I express my deepest gratitude. I earnestly bespeak the same for my successor. He is a decendant of a pioneer pio-neer family of Sanpete county and has lived in Mount Pleasant all his life; is most favorably known as a young man of good ability abil-ity and of a high moral character. He has spent several years at newspaper work and has a good all round knowledge of the business. He is in every way worthy of patronage and support. Very Respectfully, J. M. Boyden. I have purchased the Mount Pleasant Pyramid from Mr. J. M. Boyden, the former proprietor, and for the benefit of the public and the patrons of the paper I wish to announce that I am going to publish a paper of and for the people, the same as the former proprietor. The Pyramid shall give the best news obtainable in North Sanpete, always working for the interests of the people of that section. It's policy will be to boost, never knock; to assist in the advancement and upbuilding of the section in which it circulates cir-culates in every legitimate way. Politically it is to be absolutely and strictly non-partisan always. Any other policy would be j folly on the part of the management and unfair to the people i who are patrons of the paper. I I desire to have the support of the people, and in return I shall give to the public the best news and reading matter obtainable obtain-able in this neighborhood, seeking always for the welfare and progress of the people. Mr. Boyden will be employed by me for a number of months and The Pyramid shall profit by the many years of experience which he has had. Yours sincerely, Burke McArthur. |
