Show SOCIETY. The O. N. O. Club was entertained enter-tained Thursday night at home of Viola Whittaker. The evening was very pleasantly spent in sewing and social chat. 'Dainty refreshments were served. Winifred Jensen was a special guest. The Public school faculty entertained enter-tained the High school faculty and school board members last week at a banquet and skating partv, the banquet at the public school building and skating at the Armory. Covers were laid for thirty and a 4 course dinner served. Some very interest ing speeches and songs were enjoyed the choicest, number, however, was a male quartette by J. W. Anderson, Ander-son, Daniel Rasmussen, Nathan Faux, and M. R. Anderson. After dinner each person was presented with a carnation and all adjourned to the Armory where they rolled the evening even-ing away on skates and drank punch to the health of all. Surprise parties were last week's social attraction at the public school. The parties were all arranged by grade pupils and enjoyed after the days work was ended. The victims were Christie Neilson, Nellie McArthur, Mc-Arthur, Ettie Rolph, Tressie Hansen and Daniel Rasmussen. Mrs. Hazel Lundberg was hostess at a pleasant evening Kensington last week at her home. The affair was in honor of the O. N. O. club. A dainty luncheon was enjoyed by all. They were tendered tend-ered a pleasant reception at the home of the bride's mother the same evening. ev-ening. Only members of the immediate imme-diate families being present. A sumptuous dinner was prepared and relished by those present. A number num-ber of beautiful and useful presents were given them. They are looking happy as larks and are receiving best wishes for a long and happy wedded life as well as congratulations on the part of both parties for their excellent excel-lent choice of companion. They left our city early this week for Mill Creek where they will reside. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Rasmussen Rasmus-sen entertained at the home of Mrs. A. G. Omen Saturday evening in honor of the H. H. G, club and their lady friends. A splendid dinner was served and the evening pleasant- ly enjoyed in song, music, games, etc. The boys gave the newlyxh a handsome white and gold chin; dinner set. We hate to have these people leave us, but wish them ev ery pleasure that life atfords in theii new home, Mr. and Mrs. Canute Keal were up from Ephraim to attend at-tend both the reception and the II.
