Show Social Happenings The social event of the season was enjoyed by the O. N. 0. club girls Wednesday afternoon and evening of last week under the direction of the Misses Hilda Madsen, Viola Whittaker, Virginia Whitlock and Estella Truscott. The party met at the home of the former at 4:30 p. m. from which place they were conveyed convey-ed by a first class hay-rack to the Madsen's Hidden Spring Resort, about two miles west of town. A delicious luncheon was served after which the party adjourned and reassembled reas-sembled at 9 o'clock at the Melba theatre. A jolly good time is reported report-ed by all present. The guests wcre: Carol Rasmussen, IdaMerz, Florence Monsen, Thea Rasmussen, Tressa Larsen, Stella Mcintosh and Margaret Marga-ret Reynolds. Harry Ericksen, Leonard Seely, Tressa Larson and Edna Madse i left early Tuesday morning for Gooseberry where they will spend Pioneer Day. Members of W. C7 T. U. and husbands went to Fiddler's Green Friday afternoon to have an outing. There were about seventy-five in all; some went in buggies and wagons. A fine luncheon was served in the shade of the trees; roller skating was a special feature of the days amusement. amuse-ment. Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Merz entertain ed the Smalls, who leave our city in the near future, at an imformed evening affair at their home Sunday evening. |
