Show The Twentieth Century Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. F. C. Jensen on Thursday last. Mrs, Fannie Miles reviewed the second lecture on Naples. The souveniers and pictures from Naples made it a most interesting lecture. Miss Carol Jensen played "A Wild Rose"' by Carol Bohen, and later Winnifred Jensen accompanied her in a duet "Humoreske" A dainty luncheon was served while the guests enjoyed the social hour. Mrs. George Christensen was hostess on Friday at the regular meeting of the W. C. T. U. Mrs. 0. F Wall and Mi's. C. L. Johns conducted con-ducted splendid leviews on temperate temper-ate and mothers' departments. Interesting In-teresting discussions followed the papers. The union is planning for the Celebration of the birthday of Neil Daw, the Father of the Temperance Tem-perance movement, in the near future. fut-ure. A dainty supper was served by the hostess. |
