Show Gives Credit To Company D. Lieut r.ant Col. Perkins of the 20 th Infantry was in Mt. Pleasant on Thursd y the 27th of February and inspected Company Dat the Armory. It was a government inspe.-tion and the bovs appeared at their best. Col. Perkins gives Company D c elit for having one of the finest lot of young men he has seen in the services for some t.u e. He was well pleased with the conuition of the guns, clo.hing and property of the company. Especially was he pleased with their quarters, Armory Hall, which he says is one of the best in the state. It being fitted up better than any he knew of, Col. Perk:ns says that any young man in Mt. Pleasant ought to feel proud to be a merrber of the company.
