Show DEATH CALLS PIONEER. Mrs. James K. McClenahan, an early pioneer lady of this city, received re-ceived her final summons and responded re-sponded to the call of death last Friday Fri-day morning. The funeral was held at the North Ward Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A large number of relatives and friends were in attendance to show due respect to this aged pioneer. pio-neer. Mrs. McClenahan was born on Christmas day in 1820. She came to Utah in the year 1848 living at Salt Lake for about ten years. She was1 married to James K. McClenahan in 1853 and they moved to Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant in the year 1859 where she has resided ever since. Mrs. McClenahan was a true and faithful Latter-Day Saint and leaves a son and daughter Elijah and Susan to morn her loss. |
