Show Pioneer Day Celebration J Planned By Sunday Schools The Sunday schools of both wards have united together in arranging a program and games appropriate for Pioneer Day celebration. j In the morning at ten o'clock meeting meet-ing will be held in the Assembly Hall. Dr. J. C. Stocks will be Master Mas-ter of Ceremonies. The program will be carried out as follows: Singing, "0 Ye Mountains High." Invocation. Music by the Band. Quartett, "Utah Star of the West," Henry Hasler and Company. , Reading, Dorathy Jacobs. Cornet Solo by Wm. Anderson. , Paper, "The Pioneers," Cassie T Rasmussen, V Piano Solo by Ida Merz. Vocal Solo by Mary Carter. Trombone Solo by Louis Peterson. Oration by George Christensen. Song, "Utah Queen of the West." Benediction. Music by the Band. The Sunday schools have made arrangements ar-rangements with Mr. A. D. Sutton to sell refreshments on the church grounds for the purpose of meeting the expenses of the games and sports which has been planned by the amusement committee. The games will take place on the church grounds at 1:30 o'clock. Special Spe-cial features have been arranged and the sports will be something new and attractive to all. At 3 o'clock a children's dance will be given at the Armory Hall. An admission fee of 5c will be charged to meet the expenses. In the afternoon there will be a J ball game'at the park between the local team and the Rio Grande Western Clerks of Salt Lake City. They promise to give a good game and the local boys intend to win.
