Show SPRING CITY J. A. Johnson is a visitor in Utah county this week. Gardner Schofield departd for Eureka Sunday. Peter Sorensen is spending a few-days few-days with relatives in Salina. Mrs. J. F. Ellis went to Ogden yesterday yes-terday to visit with friends. Charley Thompson arrived home Wednesday after several weeks spent in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Reed Allred and Manett All-red All-red are visiting with their brother, Pratt Allred, at Manti this week. Wilford Allred of Chester is among the business visitors at Salt Lake during the holidays. Roscoe "Christensen of Wales departed de-parted for Marysvale Wednesday where he has employment. Orson Downard is visiting with some young relatives in Manti for 2. few days. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Allred spent Christmas visiting with their son, Arnold Allred and wife, at Eureka, i Mrs. John Olson is spending the holidays visiting with her relatives at Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Acord of Salt Lake are spending, the holidays in v8pring City. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ericksen of Ephraim are among the holiday visitors visi-tors to Spring City this week. Charles Justesen arrived home for the holidays after several weeks spent in Castle valley. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Christensen of Idaho are here visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends. Caleb Larson, who is employed at he B. & G. depot at Bingham as freight checker, spent Christina-with Christina-with his relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Clawson o Mammoth spent a few days here vis ting with relatives this week, re urning Wednesday. Miss Lois Justesen of Salt Laki od Miss Blanche Hyde of Sprinf ille have been here visiting with rel atives for a few days. Peter Jensen of Rupert, Idaho, an' Mrs. S. H. Fray of Salt Lake wer Spring City visitors the fore part o the week. The Home Dramatic company wil' present, "Gyp, The Heiress," Satu day evening at the Lyceum theatre A great deal of time and hard worl has been done to put the company ii the best of condition to present thif play, and therefore it will merit the patronage of the theatre going pub lie. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Benson en tertained Tuesday evening t tin home of Mrs. Benson's parents. Mu sic, games and jokes and a daint luncheon was the evening's entei tainment. One of the most elaborate socia' functions of the season was that giv en by the Alathea club at the honn of Mrs. Rasmus Strate Tuesday even ing. The beautiful home was decor ted with holly, evergreen, and cu lowers. A large Christmas tree brilliantly lighted, occupied the cen er of the dining room, about whicl vas served an elaborate luncheon ii 'juflet style. During the evening ai ppropriate Christmas program wa--endered by children of the member-)t member-)t the club, consisting of music an ccitation. Fifty-two guests enjoyec be evening's entertainment. |
