Show FAIRVIEW Hilden Peterson spent the holidays at Fairview. J. E. Garn came to Fairview to spend Christmas. Miss Mary Sundwall, who spent the past three months at Salt Lake, is home for the holidays. Miss Tressa Lindquist, who has been at Salt Lake for some time past, came home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nordstrom ot Idaho are visiting relatives at Fair-view. Fair-view. Miss Lydia Pritchett and Miss Marvel Mar-vel Cowan of Mammoth are visiting friends at Fairview. William Pritchett came from Salt Lake last week and spent the early holidays with relatives. Miss Dot Christensen, who is teaching teach-ing school, is home from Idaho foi her vacation. Miss Fernell and Leile Christoffei-son Christoffei-son of Idaho, are spending the holidays holi-days with relatives in Fairview. Miss Allie Hansen of Dayton, Ida ho, came here to spend Christmat with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Peterseu cami home from Tooele to spend the holi : days. J Mrs. Eli A. Day returned from Sa! Lake City on Christmas day, she i recovering nicely. Miss Geneve Schafer and Mis' Olive Wilcox of Moab, who are te tending school at the B. Y. U. art spending their holidays at Fairview Mrs. Ellis Day Wilcox spent tin fore part of the week with her daugh ter Mrs. Newel Cox,1 having bee caled here by the death of her infan grandson. The descendants of Henry Sande-son Sande-son held, a reunion in the pavilio December 21. A good program va rendered and an excellent dinner wa served to more than one hundred. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Sanderson of Ogden, Mrs. Frank Rigby of Garfield, and Mrs. Hyrum Fechser of Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant attended. In the evening a free dance was given to all married people. peo-ple. v The Ladies' Literary club met at the home of Mrs. Jesse Turyin December De-cember 22. A parliamentary drill onc-Hie high cost of living was conducted con-ducted by Mrs. James Larsen. Christmas 'Customs and Current Events were given by Vere Stewart. Sixteen ladies were present. Delicious Deli-cious refreshments were served. During the social hour Miss Laurel Miner gave several vocal and piano selections. Revon, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Newel Cox, died Friday night of croup. Funeral services were held in the L. D. S. meeting house Sunday. Heber Olsen and Bishop H. P. Hansen Han-sen were the speakers who offered comfort and consoling words to the bereaved. Music was furnished by the choir and H. P. Hansen sang, "Your Sweet Little Rosebud has Left You." The parents have the s ir pathy of the community in their sa bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. Bei Staker, J. B. Staker and Mrs. Ell i Day Wilcox were the out-of-town vii itors who attended the funeral. |
