Show SOCIAL EVENTS The Twentieth Century club met yesterday at the home of Mrs. R. L. Madsen and held their regular weekly meeting. Mrs. H. C. Jacobs read an article on the life ui vasnlngton which was followed by a lecture, with radioptican slides, by Miss Winifred Jensen, the first part of which consisted con-sisted of Washington views while the major portion related to the World's Fair at San Francisco. Each lady who had visited the fair related some of the most Interesting things which they saw while at the fair. Eight members of the club have been to San Francisco some time during the past year. Bernice Madsen gave a piano selection and dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. There were eighteen eight-een members of the club present. Mrs C. P. Olsen was a special guest. Officers and members of the North Ward Relief Society held a very spirited meeting at the home of Mrs. Christens Frandsen Monday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Frandsen has been ill for nearly two years. Such a visit is surely of great benefit and encouraging encourag-ing to one in ill health. The Relief Society sisters are certainly performing perform-ing a great mission and are to be commended in their good work.
