The following program was given for the conjoint meeting of the Mutual Mu-tual Improvement Associations last Sunday: Talk, "The Workings of the Juvenile Court" by Arthur O. Neil-son Neil-son of Mt. Pleasant; Male chorus by Daniel Larsen, James Fechser, Ferry Faux, James Larsen and Joseph Faux; Chorus by the eighth grade girls of the public school. The sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the public school left Moroni Mor-oni at 3 o'clock on Tuesday for Ephraim Eph-raim to attend the basket ball game between th,e Moroni and Mt. Pleasant public schools. The game ended in a score of 36 to 27 in favor of Moroni. This was the final tie game for this district, and Moroni won the championship cham-pionship for this division. The fastest and most exciting an;: of the season was played at Mor.mi last Friday night between the Manti High School and the Moroni High School. The game ended with a score of 20 to 20. The timo was then extended five minutes and each team scored five points more. The score then stood 25 to 23 and the referee again extended the time five minutes. The Manti team during this period I were successful in making ten points i over their opponents. The final score being 35 to 25 in favor of Manti. |
