Show SPRING CITY o j The Republican primary was held at the City Hall Friday evenng, Oc- i tober 15th and the following candidates candi-dates were nomnated to be voted for at the City election to be held November Novem-ber 2nd, 1915: for Mayor, Wm. E. E. Watspn; for 4-year Councilman, C. Thompson; for 2-year Councilmen, Fred Sorcnsen, H. W. Peterson, Wm. E. Osborne; for City Recorder, Linden Lin-den Larsen; for City Treasurer, Mrs. S. E. Hyde. The Democratic Primary was held Ihe following evening, Saturday, October Oc-tober 16th. and the following ticket placed in the field: for Mayor, John p. Johnson; for 4-year Councilman, Pratt Allred; for 2-year Councilmen, Frank Hansen. J. G. Schofieltl. John Kobinson: for City Kecorder. J. K. Baxter, Jr; for City Treasurer, Mrs. S. E. Hyde. It is estimated by Spring City p-pl- Hint Ibis will be a very clotr election elec-tion on account of Ihe well balanced tickets of Ihe two parties. j ; Aldrich was nominated to the treasurer-ship on the Republican ticket tick-et at the primary Friday evening, but not being present and upon hearing of the fact Mr. Aldrich decided to decline de-cline on account of all of his time being taken up elsewhere. Fred Thompson went to Salina Monday, returning Tuesday. N. II. Omansen started on a business busi-ness trip through (he Uintah BaBin District Tuesday.
