A meeting of the committee commit-tee was held in the Commercial club last Saturday evening, at which County Chairman Woolley spoke briefly about the necessity of such a move, explained some of the issues of the campaign, and promised to lend every assistance to the women In their efforts on behalf of the Republican Re-publican ticket. The present week is a busy one on the Republican sid, as there is a rally every night. Monday a rousing meeting was held at Moroni, at whicn Lewis Larson was the main spellbinder, spell-binder, while T. J. Morley and Dil-worth Dil-worth Woolley spoke briefly in behalf be-half of the Judicial and County Ticket. Tick-et. Mr. Larson showed in a masterly mas-terly way the fundamental differences differ-ences between the two great parties, pointing out that the first great difference dif-ference is in the varying attitudes which the Republican and the Democrats Demo-crats take upon the question of a strong central government and states rights. The next fundamental difference, dif-ference, in his judgment, is upon the tariff question. He made the strong point that all of the people in this country are really Republicans, because be-cause at heart they belong to that fchool of political thought upon these two great principles.
