The Progressive party will hold its national convention June 7 in Chicago, concurrently with the national convention of the Republican Re-publican party, in the hope that both may agree on the same candidate for . president. This action was decided upon Tuesday Tues-day by the national committee of the Progressive party. Forty-seven of the forty-eight states were represented at the meeting. A message was read from. Col.
