Show A very interesitng surprise party was given at the pavilion Wodnesdey evening in honor of .lack I'licison by about one hundred and thirty-five of his friends. A bounteous spread was given and the guests wen; also treated to ice cream and puch after wards. Dancing was indnlffd lit, the music being furnished gratis by the orchestra. For a change John Gittons played the accordinn and Fib was interchanged with the vir-iorolt The Ladies' Literary club ent"r-tained ent"r-tained their husbands Jan. 7 at the home of S. P. Melgaard.
